The Plastics Industry Awards have come around again and we are delighted to say, that for the second year in a row, we are Finalists.
The category of Supplier Partnership – Prime Machinery is a hotly contested one, with major companies hoping to bring home the plastic.
We are delighted to be waving the flag for Bandera film and sheet extrusion machinery amongst so many injection moulding machine manufacturers. Our partner customer, Mister Blister, are one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of thermoformed blister packaging and blister packs and it has been an absolute pleasure to work with them on their challenging project.
This year will be the 18th anniversary of the Plastics Industry Awards and most of our team have been involved in one form or another for all of those years. Discussing our experiences, we have come to the conclusion that the awards have definitely evolved over this time. These days, Awards night comes with a theme (this year it is Big Band), fabulous food from the Hilton on Park Lane and spectacular entertainment. Not to mention the ‘after party’.
The Plastics Industry Awards is a networking event not to be missed and even if you are not a Finalist, it’s still the place to be on Friday 28th September 2018.
The Plastics Industry Awards were founded in 2001 and acknowledge innovation and exceptional performance. Through the years, the finalists and winners of Prime Machinery Supplier have been from the Injection Moulding sector of the industry.
However, this year, UK Extrusion Ltd are super excited to be a Finalist in this category with our manufacturer Luigi Bandera and our customer TDX (Thermodynamix Thermoforming Specialist Services Ltd).
